Even the horns, though odd in and of themselves, might not look so odd there either. No, it's the fact that all of this is on something so tiny. Tiny, and vaguely angry looking.]

Who are you? [Maybe on a scale of alarming, this isn't quite to the level of the blue person who looks like her, but she now has a hand on that bow nearby. Just in case.]

Eridan is back already. Sollux isn't though.

Sollux is still dead. Eridan is alive. I've even seen him. His collapsing and expanding aquatic bladder system is in full working order once more.

But Sollux is definitely still dead.

He'll come back, right? They always do?

Not that I care, I am officially over caring about Sollux managing to kill himself every time he leaves his respite block and then instantly coming back to life, it is so old and I am not going to expend any more energy thinking about it, it would be more worthwhile to mourn a stale piece of grubloaf.

Is there any, like, side affect or anything?

No. Nothing but having to wait for them to come back. Which they always do.

Everyone who has ever died at any point in time who later came into contact with the Initiative is entirely alive and well. You wouldn't know it to hear them talk, but they are.

I used to think it was my job to be in charge of everyone, but where I'm from I've recently given up on that. My reign of leadership was an unmitigated disaster, I'm fine with admitting to it.

Only now I remember why I felt I had to run everything in the first place, no one else can do anything!

But that was in the alpha timeline. Which, in all honesty, has about the same effect on my opinion of anyone on our team as an old season of All My Descendants.

Considering what passes for leadership on Earth, I have absolutely no doubts in yours.

No, you can't repudiate the alpha timeline, that isn't happening here. It's all of you who are weird and fucked up.

The alpha timeline has literally, not figuratively, caused nothing but pain and suffering for my friends and myself, though as a person and not a participant. So I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with you slightly on that.
