Fourthwalling: Rather avoid this. If your character somehow knows Homestuck, it's okay if they recognize him, but please don't say anything about him being fictional or reveal they know things about him.
Offensive Subjects: Um, just run it by me. Most things I'm okay with if there's forewarning, some things like sexual violence I just don't want in my pretendy funtimes, and some things I'll want to know how it will play out. Hit me up and we'll talk!

Hugging: Go for it, though you will probably be yelled at.
Kissing: Go for it, though again, yelling. He's only 13, so not too much older.
Flirting: Go for it, he will be awkward. And again, 13.
Romance: Let's talk! I like shipping but you will have to deal with a bundle of issues.
Fighting: Go for it. He's unlikely to initiate, but he's a decent fighter.
Injuring: Small injuries, go for it. Anything big, let's talk. Be aware you will be subjected to major hang-ups about his blood.
Killing: Talk to me first, but I'm willing. Just know his friends are a bigger threat than he is.
Telepathy / Mindreading: For the most part, go for it. If they're planning to go crazy blabbing all his secrets, hit me up first.

As most of you are probably aware, in Homestuck the main cast are all painful teenage drama queens who use special text quirks to express their individuality. Karkat's quirk is LESS ANNOYING THAN SOME, but still may not be something you want to deal with. I'm happy to not use text or provide translations.

Additionally, he talks like a teen boy with an above average vocabulary and a poetic streak. This means he can be really graphically gross with lots of sexual/violent/bodily function imagery. He can be insulting and obnoxious. If something he says bothers you, let's talk.

For either one, you can leave me a message here or PM me privately, and I will be more than happy to avoid whatever it is you want me to avoid.

Name Karkat // Karkat Vantas
Age He's around six sweeps, or 13 in human years.
Team Sterling

Height/Build A little shorter than average for a thirteen year old boy. Has kind of a broad-shouldered build, but he's only just starting to grow into it. Not really anything special about his appearance besides the troll thing.
Hair Color/Eye Color Black hair, yellow eyes with grey irises. He has pretty messy hair, and usually has bags under his eyes.
Notable Traits He's a troll! So grey skin, candy corn horns (Karkat's are particularly small and nubby), yellow sclera, sharp fanged teeth (though Karkat's are only somewhat bigger and pointier than human teeth). Those are all the physical differences that are immediately noticeable. Most trolls have funny colored blood, but Karkat's is human colored.

Other He's kind of an asshole!! But definitely only an asshole, not a bad dude.

[Karkat has been staying at Sollux's ever since Gamzee lost his shit midway through the Christmas stuff. He's been keeping a low profile and avoiding everyone except Sollux. He's still sore and impacted by his injuries, which have been stitched and bandaged up but still have left him bruised and hurting. It's less the injuries than his mental state which has led him to keep to himself. But once he notices, the morning of the 25th, that things seem to have gone back to normal, he starts to feel a little better. It takes him until afternoon to make up his mind to make a phone call, but he eventually does.

He still doesn't feel great, but he at least sounds like himself over the phone, if slightly subdued and hesitant.]

So none of us were fakes all along. Imagine that. Imagine, Mayfield, playing games with your pans. There was no way to guess.

I should probably filter this shit, but I have no idea who to filter it to, so if you didn't care about me disappearing, do me a favor and shut the fuck up. Or hassle me, I probably deserve it.

[Action, 1338 Benny Road]

[Karkat wakes up unable to shake the memory of his dream. He has nightmares regularly, a combination of sleeping without a recuperacoon and everything he's been through since he began playing Sgrub. But something about this one felt more real and vivid and awful, and he remembers it more clearly.

But he wakes ordinarily, only to watch the news and hear his own name, among others, listed. He remembers. She told him she would erase his existence, and he said yes. That memory combined with the news spooks him; Mayfield is clearly doing something, and he doesn't know what to think. So when the television shuts off, he'll go looking for his housemates to try to calm his nerves.]

[Phone, later]

All right, this is Karkat. No, guess what, this is actually Karkat. I'm here. You can choose to believe me or not.

Is anyone else who supposedly disappeared still here? Let's discuss this latest Mayfield fuckstorm like the rational conversationalists I know we all aren't.
